Privacy
Browsing
You can use the whole directory without an account. We set no cookies while you browse.
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track you across sites. It records things like the page, the referring site, your country and your browser type, in aggregate.
Your theme choice is kept in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.
Signing in with Google
Signing in is only needed to vote. When you sign in, Google shares with us, and we store:
- your Google account ID, so we recognize you next time,
- your name and profile picture URL, shown only to you in the header,
- the libraries you voted for, and when.
We do not ask Google for your email address, contacts or anything else.
One cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It holds a random token; we store only a one-way hash of it. A second, short-lived cookie protects the sign-in step itself and is removed as soon as it finishes.
What others see
Vote totals per library are public. Who voted for what is never shown to anyone.
Where it is stored
Everything is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site. We do not sell, share or rent your data, and we run no advertising.
Deleting your data
Open the menu under your picture in the header and choose Delete account. That removes your account, your sessions and your votes immediately, and takes your votes off the totals.
You can also remove this site's access from your Google account at any time, under Security, third-party connections.
